Announcing the return of Randy Vidrine

Randy Vidrine hails from the heart of Cajun country in Ville Platte, Louisiana, just a stone’s throw away from the legendary Fred’s Lounge in Mamou.

its definitely a family affair.. well 2 families to be precise!

Firstly a daughter/father duo with strong roots in the bayous of Louisiana and the mountains of Kentucky. We’re super excited to announce the fabulous Dirk & Amelia Powel!!

Koray Broussard

From the incredible Broussard Dynasty, ‘This Opelousas, LA native is a third generation Zydeco musician; his father John, uncle Jeffrey and grandfather Delton are all legendary players in Southern Louisiana and beyond.’

Zydeco Diamonds

The shining jewel in the crown of the European Zydeco scene, with a collective pedigree spanning 30 years!

The William Bakerfield Band

Combining to create a journey performing their favourite Americana/Country/Bluegrass songs interspersed with songs written by Pete Wakefield to be enjoyed by any audience!

The Barceló Brothers

Despite their young ages, they have travelled with their music to many festivals and venues in Ireland, UK, Spain and France, playing alongside some of the well-known names in the genre and spreading the joy of their music.

Hazel Scott Playboys

The Hazel Scott Playboys have a special interest in playing the older, less well-known songs from the Cajun tradition, from the likes of Cleoma Breaux and Eva Touchet, alongside more popular Cajun dancehall classics

Joli Blon Big Band

Joli Blon Big Band play a traditional Cajun repertoire of two steps, waltzes with vocal harmonies and are unusual in the UK for being an all women Cajun band

Rob Heron & The Tea Pad Orchestra

Rob Heron & The Tea Pad Orchestra have been gleefully trampling over genre boundaries for over a decade now, chucking Rockabilly, Blues, Country, Swing, Soul and more into their musical gumbo, but always sounding mostly just like themselves.

The Weatherall Tothill Trio

Tony Weatherall is one of the pioneers on the uk cajun scene, starting with The Crayfish Five way back in the 1980's. He went on to play with The Companions Of The Rosy Hours, LeRue, The Hackney Ramblers and has been a long time member of The Boat Band

Every year we have workshops in Cajun and Zydeco styles. As well as instrument workshops in accordion, fiddle and scrubboard.
