Big Weekend 2025 - Artists

The Barceló Brothers

Timetable to be announced

The Barceló Brothers are something undefinable… a soulful band led by two young Irish brothers with Mediterranean blood, Séamus and Mícheál Barceló.
From the beginning, they fell in love with the creole sounds of Louisiana & Texas Zydeco music which they play with artistic sensitivity, outstanding musicianship and stage presence. But being born in a multicultural home, (Mallorcan father and Irish mother) gave them a special sensitivity towards cultural diversity, which led them to also bring their own roots into the music, mixing many styles they love and all the languages that follow. There are no musical barriers in their music, just creative flow…

Despite their young ages, they have travelled with their music to many festivals and venues in Ireland, UK, Spain and France, playing alongside some of the well-known names in the genre and spreading the joy of their music.

This time they bring a new experience to the Big Weekend: The Barceló Brothers & Friends… They will be joined on the stage by the great Ruben Moreno and Koray Broussard, creating a special performance where music & passion are mixed together to create a show that will be full of dynamics & pure joy! Bringing the two brothers together with their heroes who have supported them every step of the way.
